stump the somms!

4PM - 4:45PM
One of the best parts of Corks + Forks is the ability to interact with local wine experts and gain knowledge about wines being poured.
We're bringing the experts back for a fun and interactive online trivia game. These experts will be quizzed - Jeopardy style - on all things related to oenology, viticulture, and varietals. Who will gain the most points and be crowned Corks + Forks King or Queen?
Submit your questions before the panel begins and try to stump the somms!
PAT HELLBERG (AKA: PAT THE WINE GUY)
Pat Hellberg, aka Pat the Wine Guy, has been blogging about wine for the past three
years…and drinking it much longer. Pat The Wine Guy’s focus is reviewing wines in the popular $10-$30 range that can be found where most people shop for wines: at major groceries. The slogan is simple: good wines, good buys, your store. Pat also writes a weekly newsletter with updates on what’s new, unique, and interesting in the world of wine.
Pat is a regular guest on KATU Afternoon Live and produces videos on wine and
winemakers that can be seen on the Pat The Wine Guy You Tube channel.
In his “cellar” (which is actually a converted tool room in his garage), Pat has more
Châteauneuf- du-Pape and Oregon pinot noir than he’ll ever drink.
