Stop by the event photo booth, enjoy live spins from the event DJ, taste special pours by guest sommeliers, and get the official wine 411 from the industry’s top experts. You can even purchase special wine packs featuring wines poured at the event. Get your friends together and don’t miss your chance to eat, drink and mingle while you experience the ultimate urban wine tasting event all in support of five local non profit partners.
Built in 1929, Castaway was home to the makers of yellow strand rope used in the original Portland Street Car. It was later used as a smelting and refining warehouse. In 2007, it was painstakingly restored to its original glory and features. With over 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, Castaway is the perfect venue for Corks and Forks PDX. Guests can freely move from one tasting station to another while enjoying the rustic charm of the open floor warehouse space and cozy outdoor patio space.
Located near the Pearl District at 1900 NW 18th Avenue in Portland, Oregon (corner of 18th and Upshur), Castaway brings an urban upscale appeal to Corks and Forks while offering easy and free on-street parking and easily accessible and affordable pay lot options.
